1.1 This privacy notice explains how your personal data will be collected and processed by Steer Davies & Limited (“Steer”) during and after your participation in this online tool. The aim of this tool is to provide your airport with an instant ESG rating, at which point you will be given the choice to receive more information about improving your rating and an invitation to complete the full AirportESG Index with a Steer consultant.
1.2 "Personal data" means any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person (the data subject). In relation to the collection and processing of the personal data, Steer is the Data Controller.
1.3 For this project, we are collecting and using the following types of personal data:
Contact details including email address will be used to send relevant communications relating to ESG, aviation and insights about the transport sector.
1.4 We are collecting and processing this information to enable us to send you relevant insights and services that could be used to improve the performance of your organisation.
1.5 If you choose to agree to our processing your personal data for the reasons set out in this Privacy Notice, the lawful basis for processing your personal data will be your consent.
1.6 Your personal data, will be used to send you the whitepaper stated on the rating page and an invitation to complete the full assessment, plus further relevant insights in the future.
1.7 We share your data with Vercel, owner of the tool (its Privacy Policy can be viewed here: vercel.com/legal/privacy-policy) which stores data in a data centre in Germany, provided by Neon (its Privacy Policy can be viewed here: neon.tech/privacy-policy).
1.8 The personal data inputted by you will be accessed Steer (for the purposes set out above). Steer will not share your personal data with any other organisation.
1.9. Personal data processed by Steer outside of the tool, will be stored and processed on Steer's servers within the UK.
1.10 Your contact details will be held in our database for the purposes of receiving relevant marketing communications from us. You can ask us to stop sending you marketing messages at any time by following the opt-out links on any marketing message sent to you or by contacting us at any time at marketing@steergroup.com.
1.11 You have the right to access your data and, where data is found to be inaccurate, to have that data corrected. In certain circumstances you have the right to have data held about you erased or the use of it restricted. You may also object to processing and you may withdraw your consent at any time.
